About Us

Dorthy started cooking with her mom at the young age of 7 and her mother is the inspiration for D Lee’s Cuisine. Every event, family or holiday dinner was hosted and catered by her mother and her food was always the star of the show. Her specialty was feeding hundreds of people at once, whether it was a church, community or school event there always was enough for everyone. She always wanted to start her own catering service, but that dream was cut short after passing away from breast cancer in 2012. The pride she had in her family and cooking was what she always talked about and now her daughter wants to continue that dream with D Lee’s Cuisine.
